Trainset AI Pty Ltd, ABN 24 690 826 610, trading as Dialessa. Last updated 21 October 2026.

We are an Australian Privacy Principles entity. The small business exemption does not apply to us, because we handle personal information as part of what we sell, and we have not tried to rely on it.

What we collect, and why

If you ask us to call you

The demo form asks for your first name, Australian mobile number, business email and business name, and optionally your industry. There are no boxes to tick: the line under the button says that by clicking you agree to receive an AI demo call and follow-up texts and emails from Dialessa, and that the demo call is recorded, and we store that exact wording with your request. We also store the time you submitted the form, your IP address, your browser's user agent, the address of the page you submitted it from and any campaign tags in that address (such as utm_source), so we have a record of what you agreed to, can stop the form being used to harass someone else, and know which channels bring people to the demo.

We use these details to place the call you asked for, to follow up about the demo by text and email, to stop the form being misused, and to know who has tried the demo. If the call goes ahead, about five minutes after it ends we send one text message from the number that called you, from Timothy at Dialessa, asking how you found it, and we may also email you about the demo. To stop the texts, reply STOP. To stop the emails, reply to any of them or email hello@dialessa.com. We do not add your details to a calling campaign, sell them, or give them to a customer. The call opens by checking you asked for it, and if you say no it stops and the number is suppressed permanently.

Reply STOP to any text from us and we stop texting and calling that number, permanently, as soon as we receive it. If you reply with anything else, we keep your message so we can answer it, and it may be forwarded to a Dialessa staff member's phone.

We keep the record because placing a requested call is something we may have to prove to a regulator. You can have it deleted by emailing hello@dialessa.com.

If you call Dialessa directly

We keep the caller number supplied by your phone network, the number you called, the time, duration and outcome of the call. If your caller ID is withheld, we show it as withheld. Calling us does not add your number to a marketing list.

Before connecting you to our AI assistant, we ask you to press 1 to allow recording or 2 to continue without recording. No answer also means no recording. You can stop recording during the conversation by pressing 9 or asking the assistant to stop recording. Authorized Dialessa administrators can review the call history and any consented recording.

If a business has Dialessa call you

Most calls we place for a customer answer an enquiry you made with that business. When you fill in its website form or a Google Ads lead form, or it sends us your enquiry through its intake link, we receive your name, phone number and email and the details of your enquiry, such as the property address, along with what the form sends with it, such as the consent wording you were shown, the page you enquired on and your IP address. We use them to call you back about your enquiry for that business, and we hold them with the outcome of each call, as the record of your enquiry and your consent. The AI caller is told only your first name.

A Dialessa customer can also supply a list, such as its past leads. We act on their instructions to place the call, and we hold your name, phone number, email, job title and employer, along with the outcome of each call and where the contact details came from. Calls we place for a customer are not recorded, and no transcript is kept. If you ask not to be called again, we keep the words you used, as the record of that request.

We do not pool one customer's list into a database of our own, and we do not use one customer's contacts to serve another. Contacts that reached us through a customer's own data vendor are deleted when that customer leaves.

To stop being called, tell the caller. Your number goes on our do-not-call list straight away, with the words you used, and it is not called again for any business that uses Dialessa. That does not delete your details. To have them deleted, email hello@dialessa.com.

How long we keep recordings and transcripts

Calls we place for customers are not recorded or transcribed today. If that changes, this is how we will keep them.

For as long as the customer who made the call has an account with us. We do not expire them on a timer. A customer using Dialessa is buying the record of what was said on their behalf, and a recording that vanished before they reviewed it would be worse than useless to them and to you.

When a customer closes their account we delete their recordings and transcripts within 90 days, along with the contacts that came from their own data vendor.

None of that overrides your own request. Ask us to delete a recording of a call you were on and we delete it, whether or not the customer still has an account. Our backups keep data for 35 days, so that is the real horizon for any deletion rather than the moment we run it.

If you visit this website

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. IP addresses are anonymised, and we have turned OFF Google signals and ad personalisation, so your visit is not shared into advertising audiences. Your phone number is never sent to Google, and the analytics code does not read the form.

Where your information goes

For calls directly to Dialessa and website callback demos, Twilio stores call recordings and Cloudflare stores call history and recording metadata. These providers may store or process this information outside Australia. Recording playback and full phone numbers are restricted to authorized Dialessa administrators.

Live call audio leaves Australia. While a call is in progress, the audio passes through our voice server on Google Cloud in the United States (Iowa). There, Google’s Gemini model hears what you say, writes the agent’s reply and speaks it. Google offers no Australian location for this model, so this part of every call happens in the United States.

This is a cross-border disclosure under Australian Privacy Principle 8 and we would rather state it plainly than bury it. The storage arrangements for direct calls and website demos are described above.

When a business has Dialessa call you, two other services outside Australia are involved. Twilio, our telephony carrier, carries the call, and any text the business has us send you, and keeps a record of each in the United States, including the numbers and the time. And if the business has connected its Cal.com calendar, a booking made on the call sends Cal.com, in the United States, your name, the time of the appointment and a one-line summary of the call.

We also use: Twilio for telephony, Google Cloud in the United States (Iowa) for the live call server and the agent’s voice, Cal.com for bookings when a business connects it, Stripe for payments, Amazon Web Services in Sydney for email, and Google Cloud in Sydney for everything else.

Recording calls

Calls Dialessa places for customers are not recorded. Australia is not a one-party consent country, and a recording we hand to a customer goes to someone who was not on the call. So if we add recording, every call recorded for a customer will say at the start that it is recorded and who the recording goes to, and if you object, the call will carry on unrecorded.

A demo call you requested from this website is recorded by default using the consent in the form. You can stop recording by pressing 9 or asking the assistant. We keep direct-call and demo recordings until you request deletion; they are not automatically deleted on a timer.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@dialessa.com and we will respond within 30 days.

One thing we will not delete: if you have asked never to be called or contacted again, we keep a record of that request. It holds the number or email address, when you asked, and the reason, which for a request made on a call includes the words you used. Deleting it is how somebody ends up being called again.

Our backups retain data for 35 days, so that is the real horizon for a deletion rather than the moment we run it.

Complaints

Email hello@dialessa.com first. If we do not resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, or to the Australian Communications and Media Authority at acma.gov.au for anything about a call or a message.
